While we do monitor travel advisories and encourage travelers to do likewise, travel advisories can be misleading–especially if low risk areas are grouped with high risk areas.  Many believe travelers are much safer in Israel than in any other place in the world as a result of Israel’s vast experience in implementing safety measures and protocols, and Israel does not take lightly the safety of their visitors.  All Israeli citizens (tour operators, tours guides, hotel staff et cetera) are trained with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) as part of their citizenship, and the hotels and biblical sites visited while in Israel are far from areas often mentioned in news reports or listed on travel advisories.

Additionally and most importantly, Israel has a long history of being protected by the GREAT I AM…just open a Bible or study the history books.  We believe and want to encourage you in the simple fact that our greatest source of protection comes from God alone.  He is in control of our lives–the Alpha and Omega, and we believe until the day arrives He has appointed for us to enter His presence nothing will cause us to enter it before that day, and on the day He has appointed, nothing will prevent us from entering His presence.  A journey to Israel is a divine encounter with our Creator and Protector–our ABBA Father!  There is none more powerful nor more omniscient or omnipresent.  The Lord Himself goes before us and will be with us (Deuteronomy 31:8).  May nothing deter us from experiencing all He longs for us to experience in the land He chose for himself – Israel, the apple of His eye!

For the LORD of armies says this: “After glory He has sent me against the nations that plunder you, for the one who touches you, touches the apple of His eye” (Zechariah 2:8).
