We are an ARC accredited travel agency founded on the biblical, Judeo-Christian faith in Jesus (Hebrew: Y’shua). We specialize in biblical tours for the study of biblical history: the lands and people of the Bible. Many Christians understand Jesus (Y’shua) is Jewish, but few fully understand the Messianic Jewish roots of our cherished Christian faith and our grafting (adoption) into the family of Christ (Hebrew: Messiah). The first believers in Christ (Messiah) were Jewish believers—Messianic Jews—who believed Y’shua (Jesus) was the promised Messiah. These believers were inspired by the Holy Spirit (Hebrew: Ruach HaKodesh), entrusted with recording the Word of God, and it was through these initial believers that faith and the Word of God spread to other nations and to non-Jewish believers (Gentiles) (Romans 11:25). As a result, all who are willing to embrace Christ the Messiah and search for the wisdom and treasures in Scripture are able to discover the greatest blessings God longs for His sons and daughters to experience.
We firmly believe for one to fully comprehend and receive revelation of the Scriptures one must not only believe (1 Corinthians 2:14) but also must understand the context, entrusted authors, and cultural audiences of the biblical texts. For example, many do not realize the Gospels were written to four different cultural audiences. Matthew was written to Jewish unbelievers (Matthew 10:5). Mark was written to a Roman audience. Luke was written to the Hellenes (cultures of Greek influence), and John was written to the Greek philosophes (John 10:15-16). These were the dominant cultures during Christ’s existence in human form. Many also do not understand that Scripture and Christ himself make clear that God’s Covenant with the Jewish people (Romans 11) remains even after the establishment of His Covenant of Grace (New Testament).
“I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous. Now if their transgression is riches for the world and their failure is riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fulfillment be! But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles, Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if somehow I might move to jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them. For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? If the first piece of dough is holy, the lump is also; and if the root is holy, the branches are too. But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, ‘Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.’ Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either” (Romans 11:11-21).
Jesus (Y’shua) also reiterates this in the New Covenant within the Book of Matthew.
“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he [/she] shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:17-19).
Sadly, these truths are often distorted by modern secular teachings which insinuate Christ only existed in human form or by those who tend to stereotype modern Christianity with the Catholic Crusades, Spanish Inquisition, and other evils of “mankind.” It is not surprising these teachings are often given by individuals who have never personally read nor studied the Bible and/or by those who appear to not fully understand the divinity of Christ (His existence in a Divine form prior to and after His existence in a human form on earth). These individuals also often synchronize religion with spiritual relationship which are uniquely different, and more often than not, they portray God as a punitive and controlling Father rather than as One who loves all His creation unconditionally and who longs to help His sons and daughters understand how sin robs them of blessings and treasures He longs for them to have and experience in their lives. These deceptive portrayals are most blatant in teachings which emphasize the atrocities of mankind above the sacrificial love of Christ the Messiah, the only God who laid down His life for His followers. The wickedness of these events and “human beings” is not an accurate representation of our loving Heavenly Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob…nor of the Judeo-Christian faith that grew out of Messianic Jewish origins. It is also without a doubt the monstrosities of these “individuals” grieved our Heavenly Father’s heart more than they grieve the hearts of modern followers today.
The God we intimately know, love, and serve is a God of justice (Psalm 33:5, Psalm 37:28, , Psalm 45:6, Psalm 89:14, Psalm 92:15, Psalm 97:2, Psalm 103:17, Psalm 111:7, Proverbs 2:8, Proverbs 8:20, Proverbs 29:26, Isaiah 30:18, Isaiah 61:8) and there is no malice in Him. He never forces anyone to believe nor follow Him as these individuals in history attempted to do. He gives freewill to all and embraces all who are willing to embrace Him and receive His free gifts of reconciliation and salvation through Christ’s atoning sacrifice. It is in light of these revelations that we advocate the love of the Father and Son take precedence above all else. Nothing has the power to write one’s name in the Lamb’s Book of Life other than the willing sacrifice of Jesus (Yeshua) on the cross of Calvary. This sacrifice is the greatest symbol of His immeasurable and unconditional love.
It is because of this remarkable gift that we devote our lives to the study of Scripture, share the knowledge revealed to us, and encourage others to receive His gifts and respond to His prayer for unity, which releases His power in the work of the Gospel (Phil. 2:1-11, John 17:21). So, if you believe in divine appointments and feel a longing to journey where your beloved Lord walked, taught, and prayed, then a journey in the Land of the Bible with D.I. Travel beckons you. We hope you will join us for an intimate encounter with the KING of kings and the LORD of lords. You will experience His presence and His living Word unlike ever before. Your faith will never be the same!
